We specialize
in the design and manufacture of handmade batik sarongs, a delicate process
of dyeing using wax-resistant designs which are stamped (chap) on to 100%
rayon material. Once the wax has hardened, the material is dyed using various
techniques to achieve the famous textured batik look.
One-Process
Our One-Process batik sarong is an entry level sarong with the idea of providing
you with the most affordable product. We still use the same high quality grade
of material and imported dyes so you can be sure of the quality. The sarongs
weigh approximately 220 grams and have a length of 175 - 178 cm, with a width
of 120 - 122 cm. We carry Full and Half size sarongs in stock, in assorted
stamps and colorways as shown below. The One-Process sarong can also be ordered
in a children's size and you may also special order color and stamps to meet
your individual needs.
Two-Process
Our Two-Process batik sarong allows another depth and dimension of color and
designs. The first dyeing process is carried out before the material has been
stamped with the color resistant wax chap. We still use a high quality grade
of material and imported dyes so you can be sure of the quality. The sarongs
weigh approximately 220 grams and have a length of 175 - 178 cm, with a width
of 120 - 122 cm. We carry Full and Half size sarongs in stock, in assorted
stamps and colorways as shown below. The Two-Process sarong can also be ordered
in a children's size and you may also special order color and stamps to meet
your individual needs.
Kids'-Size
Child size sarongs available, by special order only, in both
one or two-colour process fabric.
